The time has come. We won the C. Bechstein photo contest, and the prize was this beautiful brand new W. Hoffman Vision 112 upright piano (bench included, not pictured). Delivered to us by Remenyi House of Music, they will prepare the piano once delivered (including a final buffing/polishing if needed). The beneficiary of the auction is the Pine River Institute, a great place and a great cause to support. The MSRP of this fine piano is CAD$10,000.00, and we’d like to start the bidding at $5,000; that way, someone “might” get a deal, but the institute will still get a well-deserved helping hand. It is a silent auction, and the only way you can get in on the action is by clicking here to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. PUSH THOSE BIDS UP! We will keep this address open until midnight EST on July 14th, 2014, and we will notify the highest bidder once we sort through all of those offers. Submit your bid, get a wonderful piano, support a terrific cause. Win win win.
Yesterday, March 11th marked the 3 year anniversary of the disaster the fell upon Japan. Three years after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, Japan still struggles to rebuild the homes and lives of those victims. We still remember and send our love and support to all our friends, family and the citizens in Japan that remain affected to this day.
In 2012, Number 9 Audio Group and the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre took part in putting together a benefit album entitled, “Maple Leaf Rising Sun: Songs for Japan.” This consisted of a series of 12 songs performed by an eclectic group Canadian musicians, of where the net proceeds from the sale of the album benefit the JCCC fund to support victims of this natural disaster that fell upon them only three years ago. Please help our cause in continuing to support those victims repair their lives by purchasing a physical copy of Maple Leaf Rising Sun at our Toronto Number 9 Recording Studios for $19.99 or a digital copy on iTunes for $9.99.
Please enjoy this short documentary about this tragedy, and the making of Maple Leaf Rising Sun!

I am writing to commend Neale for his exemplary customer service. I had a problem with my Mac and he took a lot of time and trouble to help me, although your company did not make much money from the transaction (as well, I live in Cambridge). He was completely knowledgeable and professional, and I am happy I Googled “Toronto Mac dealers” and stumbled on your company. Thank you.Lee Anne Johnston
I really enjoyed recording at Number 9. I knew I was in the hands of experienced professionals. I went back to Number 9 for CD manufacturing and website development – because I trust them.Everyone from the staff to the owner, George, treated me with respect and made me feel like I am every bit as important as their “star” clients. In a word, they provide quality service. In a world where home studios are a dime a dozen Number 9 is the “real thing”Christine Tier
I have had the pleasure of being a part of numerous Recording Sessions at Number 9 Audio and based on my experience, George Rondina and his Staff run one of the most well equipped, professional Studios in the City of Toronto. The easily accessible Downtown location on Gerrard Street is fantastic with no parking issues, and once you are inside, you are welcomed with First Class treatment, in a clean, efficient, acoustically perfect facility. I think we are very lucky, my daughter and I, to have found Number 9. (Thanks Google!). George was right; the Bechstein piano is indeed absolutely magnificient. A few days after our phone conversation, Anika my daughter had recorded her piano pieces and we walked away with a beautiful sounding CD. We cannot say enough good things about Bernie, who masterly engineered the whole project in record time. We look forward to visiting Number 9 again soon. In the meantime, all the best to your wonder…Alain Bousquet
