Biography

Joel S. Chambers, a prominent and promising musician, discovered his love and passion for music at the tender age of three. As he played a little keyboard while knelt at his mother’s bedside he began to understand that music was a part of his soul. Chambers’ first experiences as a musician were in many of Toronto’s local churches. Although Chambers was a high school “drop-out”, his extraordinary talent began to elevate him above everyone’s expectations. Chambers’ skill and talent became undeniably vast and he was quickly summoned to the United States where he received guidance and mentorship at the hands of the Honorable Bishop George G. Bloomer.

As an “up-and-coming” musician and producer, Chambers travelled throughout the United States, Africa, Russia, Japan, and the Caribbean where he inspired awe and wonder with the power of his music. While in the studio, Chambers began to develop a flair for creating and manipulating sounds into works of art. His projects include Bloomer Family Christmas, Atmosphere, and No Suitable Mate. It didn’t take long before Chambers was approached by executives in the Secular and Christian arenas to spearhead various projects including conferences and executive functions.

“Through music you can change a generation… for the better or even for the worse,” says Chambers. “I want to be an example to children from all races with a message that drives home the point of keeping your focus knowing what you do in life and never quitting!” Out of this philosophy, DOMINANT MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT (DME) was born. The label is responsible for signing artists such as J-Millah, Greg Nice, Soupy, and Unique, and singer / songwriter Nevey. Chambers takes pride in seeking out artists who are fresh and distinctive as they provide a means of breaking through boundaries inherent in the music industry. DME is aimed at not only crossing boarders, but also bridging the gap between nations through music. “DME is a place where we try to develop unique sounds and elevate artists who are from all different genres, you know, like Rock, R&B, Hip-Hop…”

Chambers is now married with three adorable children and is building an empire that is founded on his own philosophy on the influence of music. There are no limits on what Chambers is capable of achieving as he has proven time and time again that he will exceed all of our expectations.
